Takt is seeking a Director of Finance to serve as a thought partner to leadership and their respective teams by defining and driving strategic and operational initiatives as we’re growing rapidly. As the Director of Finance, you will report directly to the CEO and will have ownership over financial planning, analysis and reporting. You will interface directly with the leadership team, board members and Fortune 500 clients. We expect that you will use your entrepreneurial drive to develop great solutions, working independently with various stakeholders (leadership, board, customers, vendors, and internal teams) with limited oversight and high visibility throughout the organization.
Lead the Finance Planning and Analysis function
Drive the budgeting and planning process in regards to headcount and expenses across all departments
Generate financial analysis, commentary, and presentation materials for the CEO and Board of Directors
Generate outcome-focused financial models that support a wide-range of strategic initiatives
Work closely with the Vice President of Engineering to perform analysis and forecasting of hosting expenses in addition to driving cost savings
Work cross-functionally on a number of strategic initiatives, including but not limited to pricing, customer acquisition, partnerships, competitive analysis, and product strategy
Develop regular reporting on financial and organizational health
Manage vendor relationships, including the negotiation and execution of contracts
Drive initiatives to continuously improve financial systems and processes as we continue to grow rapidly
Skills and Experience:
Advanced degree (MBA) and/or CPA and prior experience leading an FP&A function
Experience at an enterprise SaaS company, ideally during the company’s rapid growth phase
Experience in investment banking, management consulting, and/or Big-4 experience preferred
Track record of breaking down and solving complex problems with impeccable business judgment
Experience building cross functional relationships and partnering with Senior Leadership of organizations
Proven ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy while hitting time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Robust Excel, SQL and quantitative skills
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills including experience at C-level communications and support
