Head of Product Management

Takt is seeking a Head of Product Management to drive our flagship product. Our platform learns and adapts to people’s preferences, habits and feedback to orchestrate highly relevant experiences that are truly unique to each person. Our vision will change the way people engage with brands across multiple industries including retail, finance, and healthcare. Our product is technical and complex, and we’re looking for you to effectively further the product lifecycle.

The Head of Product Management will be responsible for leading a team of world-class product managers to create and manage our company’s product vision and roadmap. Your leadership will propel product development that transforms the industry’s perspective of what is possible. You’ll demonstrate success by transforming vision into reality.  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a team of world-class Product Managers, providing guidance and direction to achieve the product vision and strategy
  • Manage the product lifecycle by working with Product Managers around the development of use cases, technical discovery, user stories, planning, and product requirements in addition to customer communication
  • Define, iterate, and communicate the product roadmap both internally and externally
  • Implement a cross-functional perspective that considers multiple aspects of the product and user experience
  • Invent novel solutions for ridiculously hard problems, helping to secure unique IP
  • Support ideas and experiences from inception through fruition
  • Continually analyze shifts in the market, customer needs, and partner offerings to help define and refine the product strategy and prioritization
  • Measure product KPIs and drive process and product improvements
  • Advocate for the end-user with deep empathy
  • Bring a high level of craft to the product creation process

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, engineering) or related field (e.g., Marketing, Business)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant product management experience
  • Exceptional communication skills as it relates to written and presentation skills to be both professional and persuasive
  • Ability to quickly develop credibility at all levels of client organizations
  • Ability to work and attend all on-site meetings in our San Francisco Headquarters
  • Ability to travel as it relates to domestic client meetings and events
  • Proven ability to execute cross-functional collaboration and indirect team leadership expertise
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise SaaS products
  • Experience developing artificial intelligence platforms
