Infrastructure Security Engineer

Takt is seeking Infrastructure Security Engineers to support the development of our flagship product. Our top priority is maintaining the trust of our Fortune 500 clients. As the first Infrastructure Security Engineer at Takt, you will be taking ownership of our cloud and on-premises infrastructure while working closely with the engineering team to evaluate the design and implementation of our product offerings. You will be on the forefront of security solutions in the enterprise SaaS space and will identify tools and technologies to ensure the safety and security of our products. You will serve as a security ambassador and educate our teams on secure application development.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in securing all elements of the technology infrastructure including but not limited to the following tasks:
    • Cloud and on-premises infrastructure (server, network, firewalls, email, DLP)
    • Endpoints (desktop/laptop, mobile, BYOD)
    • Identity & Access Management (2FA, Privileged Access, Remote Access)
  • Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to ensure successful implementation of security strategies and architectures to enterprise applications
  • Own security technologies such as AV, Next-generation endpoint prevention technologies (e.g. sandboxing, white/black listing), Data Loss Prevention, File Integrity Monitoring, Web Filtering, and NAC
  • Participate in infrastructure automation and configuration with a focus on security using tools such as Terraform and Ansible

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud & Infrastructure Security Engineering
  • Experience with design & architecture using modern design patterns in cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure)
  • Experience with automating security control mechanisms and processes in a DevOps environment
  • Knowledge of modern Linux server, desktop (OSX, Linux, and Windows) and mobile (iOS, Android) security
  • Knowledge of security best practices such as least privilege, defense in depth, and attack surface analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating complicated technical issues and risks with various functions such as engineers, product managers, and customer success.

Bonus Points:

  • Broad technical knowledge of cloud, IT Infrastructure services, including security, directory services, identity management, network, systems, storage, databases, PKI, VPN, SSO, federation services, WIFI
  • Familiarity with security related certifications such as SOC2, PCI, ISO27001, NIST
